On February 12, 2021, the Lunar New Year has started, which is the most important holiday of the whole year in many countries of the Far East, including Vietnam. At this time, similarly to the period of Christmas and New Year’s Eve in Hungary and other countries, family and friends get together and celebrate the anniversary with lunch or dinner, and gifts of course.
We also celebrated this famous event as part of a festive show. We talked about the Lunar New Year folk customs, and the special meals consumed at this time. We discussed about our last year, what 2020, the year of the Rat meant to us, and what we hope for 2021, the year of the Ox. During the show, our customers, clients and others, who were interested could also join via chat, and write their experiences and opinions.
In the program, we also focused on health maintenance, and talked about diseases that are more common at this time of the year, and what can we do against them. At the moment, this is important mainly because of the coronavirus epidemic, but excessive alcohol consumption is also a mayor issue during holidays – one suggestion is if someone decides to drink, then don't do it on an empty stomach!
